THE ROLE
The Millwright will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a working knowledge of electrical components. This position is based at the Dundas Plant and will focus on minimizing downtime and increasing productivity.
The role will be rotating between day shift and afternoon shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- As part of the maintenance staff, you will focus on minimizing downtime and the implementation of a preventative maintenance program, equipment troubleshooting and hands-on corrective actions.
- Responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance on processing equipment, minimizing downtime, and building repairs
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts through a preventative maintenance program or unscheduled maintenance
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, and / or set-up
- Read and interpret drawings, and blueprints.
- Work independently when required, and as part of a team when appropriate
- Promote and comply with Health and Safety regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Certified Millwright (433A) ticket required
- Experience with screw conveyors, bell conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, pumps and machinery rebuilds
- Experience with low-pressure boiler systems would also be an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
