Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard
- Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Check identification and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
- Ensure proactive monitoring and compliance with protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues and, when required, with emergency services.
Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid security license First aid certification (an asset) Previous experience as a security guard (physical intervention, patrol, access control, or surveillance) — required. Experience in tactical security or a secured site is an asset. Proven skills in communication, stress management, and teamwork. Integrity, vigilance, and professionalism.
Ideal for several profiles with relevant experience:
• Former military personnel or reservists wishing to continue as security guards in the civilian sector.
• Students in police techniques / fire safety / criminology who already have field experience in security (summer jobs, internships, reserve).
