Are you a highly skilled, experienced team player who thrives in a leadership role? If so, we are looking for you! We are hiring an experienced Lead Hand Framer / Carpenter who can successfully lead a team and ensure that we can continue to succeed in maintaining long-lasting client relationships through our quality work. Granite Park is an established professional high-end construction / landscaping business located in Hamilton. We provide both distinctive indoor spaces and stunning outdoor landscapes and pride ourselves in integrity and quality craftmanship. More importantly, we strive to employ the best of the best and are always looking to grow our team. Through quality craftmanship, hard work and a strong team, great things are happening at Granite Park. Join us! Responsibilities : The successful applicant must be able to perform the following tasks :
- Successfully lead a crew of 2-4 team members
- Installing foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, door frames, hardware, interior / exterior trim
- Fitting and installing window frames.
- Repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks and floors
- Construction of outdoor decks, fences and outdoor living structures
- Other duties as assigned. Requirements :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar carpentry position
- Driver’s Licence / Transportation
- Strong leadership skills
- Able to read / interpret blueprints when necessary.
- Worker at Heights training
- Able to work independently.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Organized and results oriented.
- Own basic tools would be an asset. The successful applicant will be entitled to a total compensation plan including an excellent wage, health benefits and a bonus plan.
