Job description
Manufacturing Process Lead:
Is process your life—at work and at home?

If you’re someone who naturally thinks Process, Simplify, Standardize, and Implement this could be the role you’ve been waiting for!

Standard Manufacturers Services Ltd. is growing quickly, and we’re building a team of people who want to learn, contribute, and be part of something bigger.

Why This Role is Different:
  • You won’t just understand process—you’ll own it in our Foundry department.
  • Create, lead, and implement improvements that directly impact our operations.
  • In a ~100-person company, you’ll work directly with the leadership team.
  • Good ideas don’t sit for 6 months—improvements happen fast.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supporting and improving manufacturing processes in the foundry.
  • Working closely with production and leadership.
  • Identify where process’ are breaking down and solve.
  • Applying process control, Lean, and continuous improvement principles.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Someone who is hands-on, organized, and takes pride in their work.
  • A mindset focused on learning, improving, and getting things done.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus (Nice to Have):
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or Technologist diploma (or equivalent experience).
  • Lean Manufacturing / 5S exposure.
  • Aluminum casting or machining knowledge.

A Note to Candidates:
Even if you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
If you’re motivated, reliable, and ready to grow—we’re willing to invest in you.
