Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Lab Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for assessing how disease has affected the Cardio-Pulmonary System by conducting various Cardio-Pulmonary testing.
Experience
- 2 years’ experience as a Pulmonary Technician or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)
Successful completion of a recognized Pulmonary Technologist training program, can include academic credential in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or a MARRT approve equivalent, if internationally educated.Certification / Licensure / Registration
Registered and in good standing with the Canadian Association of Cardio-Pulmonary Technologists (CACPT) or will challenge & pass the CACPT examination within 2 years of hiring.Qualifications and Skills
Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and / or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.Physical Requirements
