Job description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Duration: + Months

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Primary - Responsible for the creation and implementation of Quality Assurance test plans/methodologies that supports the development, maintenance, delivery of performance metrics and back-end reporting tables
  • Testing net new and enhancements on reporting & metrics based on Regional Banking prioritized features. This reporting supports Regional Banking practice mgmt. and incentive strategies through the use of standard Project Management Processes, Agile/Scrum practices, methodology templates, and tools to meet project deliverables
  • Works collaboratively with the internal team to leverage best practices and diversity of skills and experience to optimize the project’s quality of work
  • Manages QA tasks on multiple projects executing data validation, user testing, and functional testing that has high impact and timely information that actively supports sales and service employees, leaders, advisory groups, executive and national office on performance, productivity, capacity and financial decisions

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient programming strong proficiency of SQL and relational databases, experience in Python is critical for querying, integrating and validating data from multiple sources. Familiarity with version control systems (such as Github), code review practices, and testing methodologies is important for collaborating with other developers and maintaining quality code.
  • Expertise in testing BI applications (, Tableau, Power BI, OBI) and validating data architectures (Teradata, Data Lake).
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (, Python) for data validation, regression testing, and workflow efficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau (calculated fields, parameters, performance optimization) and working knowledge of Power BI and OBI.
  • Ability to independently data mine and troubleshoot across multiple data sources (RBDM, IDM, EDW, etc.).
  • Familiarity with agile QA practices, including test case design, defect tracking, and UAT coordination.
  • Understanding of data governance, documentation standards, and secure reporting solutions.

Must have skills:
  • SQL Knowledge (minimum - years)
  • Python (minimum - years)
  • BI/Data Experience (minimum - years)
  • University/College degree in either Business Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science or any related IT fields
  • Business Acumen (- years)
