Your role and responsibilities
Based in Ville St-Laurent, Quebec, the buyer will report to the Director of Supply Chain Management and Logistics. The buyer will work closely with team members and in direct contact with the produc-tion and engineering departments to meet deadlines.
- Place material orders and ensure follow-up with suppliers.
- Reconcile disputed invoices according to purchase orders.
- Follow up on claims and non-conformities.
- Maintain business relationships with suppliers.
- Produce necessary reports for supplier evaluation.
- Oversee the replacement of defective products.
- Any other related tasks in connection with these responsibilities.
