  • Resolve pricing discrepancies, receiving issues, quality concerns, freight claims, and supplier performance issues.

  • Maintain accurate landed costs and purchasing information within company systems.

  • Collaborate closely with Research & Development, Planning, Production, Sales, Receiving, and Quality teams to understand material requirements and support production schedules.

  • Establish and maintain appropriate safety stock levels and reorder points to optimize inventory and improve on-time delivery performance.

  • Maintain the product sampling database and ensure all information is accurate and up to date.

  • Support sourcing initiatives and provide administrative assistance to the purchasing team as required.

  • Complete additional purchasing and clerical duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.

  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing, inventory, and cost data.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve purchasing challenges effectively.

  • Experience using purchasing, inventory management, or ERP systems.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Commitment to ethical purchasing practices and maintaining data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience working with Oracle or another ERP system is considered an asset.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

  • Hybrid work environment offering flexibility.

  • Join a collaborative and supportive manufacturing team.

  • Opportunity to work cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, R&D, Quality, and Sales.
