Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of media monitoring and PR tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) is a plus. As a PR Specialist , you will report directly to the General Manager , supporting corporate communications and ensuring Valnet and its diverse portfolio of brands maintain a strong, consistent presence across media channels. Based in our dynamic New York City office, this role demands a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to cultivate and leverage relationships in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Your primary objective is to spearhead PR initiatives that elevate Valnet's reputation, foster media engagement, and maximize exposure for our 25+ industry-leading brands.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with the General Manager to design and implement PR strategies that align with corporate goals and business objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between Valnet and its brands, ensuring consistent messaging and effective communication across all verticals.
- Write and distribute press materials, including press releases, executive quotes, and media kits, tailored to various audiences.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across industries to secure impactful media placements.
- Identify opportunities to position Valnet as a thought leader in digital publishing and media investment, both regionally and globally.
- Manage media inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses that uphold Valnet’s brand integrity.
- Track and analyze PR campaign performance, sharing actionable insights and recommendations with leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, content, and leadership, to align PR initiatives with business priorities.
- Oversee crisis communication strategies when needed, ensuring quick, effective action.
