Your new role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in developing accurate project estimates and proposals for a variety of electrical and power systems projects. Working closely with customers, vendors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders, you will evaluate project requirements and developpetitive pricing solutions.
Key responsibilities include:

• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to prepare accurate labour, material, and equipment estimates.
• Develop detailed quotations and proposals based on customer requirements and project scope.
• Source pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to supportpetitive and profitable bids.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify project requirements and define scope.
• Maintain estimating databases and proposal documentation while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Provide technical support and coordination for smaller projects, assisting with issue resolution and project execution as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Design Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1-5 years of experience in electrical estimating, quotations, project coordination, or a related technical role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems,ponents, construction practices, and project delivery processes.
• Excellentmunication and customer-facing skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
