Previous work with a general contractor delivering institutional, multi‑unit, or mixed‑use projects. Strong knowledge of document control, scheduling, and construction administration. Exceptional organizational and communication skills in client‑facing settings. Proficiency with Procore (training provided) and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work primarily on‑site in Pickering, Ontario.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager to support a major long‑term care and multi‑use institutional project based in Pickering, Ontario. This site‑based position offers the opportunity to be part of a large, multi‑phase development scheduled to begin construction in January 2026. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, growth‑minded, and ready to take on increasing responsibility within an established, reputable builder.
Responsibilities
- Provide project coordination support during preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases.
- Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Assist in developing and maintaining construction schedules using Procore.
- Collaborate closely with site teams, consultants, and trade partners to ensure project objectives are met.
- Support claims management, budget tracking, and cost reporting alongside the Project Manager.
- Attend site meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Contribute to a collaborative and proactive jobsite culture rooted in quality, safety, and accountability.
