Project Context
This opportunity is part of the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station (PNGS) Refurbishment Project, focused on upgrading the facility's critical control systems, including the Digital Control Computer (DCC) . The team is looking to fill multiple roles, including positions for engineers with expertise in control systems and control computer / software development within the nuclear sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of DCC replacement systems.
- Design and develop control systems and associated software to support nuclear facility upgrades.
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses and propose innovative technical solutions for system improvements.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate new systems with existing infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and specifications.
