Job Summary

The Manufacturing Scheduler plays a critical role in coordinating and optimizing the manufacturing process .Analyze capacity, resource availability, and production efficiency to optimize scheduling. Communicate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities, timelines, and any necessary adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Create production schedules that align with customer orders, inventory levels, and production capabilities.
• Plan capacity in advance as appropriate taking account of planned arrivals and input from production planning.
• Develop short term, midterm, and long-term production capacity supporting 24 / 5 manufacturing environment.
• Adjust production schedules as needed based on changes in demand or operational conditions.
• Liaison with procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure adequate materials and resources are available for production.
• Coordinate and schedule non-manufacturing activities that impact the production areas to maximize up time and reduce impact to supporting departments.
• Develop and track production performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management on production efficiency, adherence to schedules, and capacity utilization.
• Identify and implement process improvements to, increase production efficiency, and improve overall workflow.
• Communicate risks and / or changes that will impact the supply of finished goods.
• Develops standard and non-standard reports; identifies issues, exceptions and variances and develops solutions to moderately complex issues; reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
• Maintenance to assure the complete scope of planning activities remains connected with other tangential business operations and compliant with Quality requirements
• Chair daily Production Meetings.
