Staffing Lab represents a client that has asked us to assist in identifying a candidate for a Full Time Senior Product Manager for an opening within their organization. My client is looking for someone with experience in a startup environment—or at least in a setting where they’ve taken full ownership of a product from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on product manager who can handle all aspects of the job independently—not someone coming from a large, segmented product team with limited responsibilities. They should be comfortable managing multiple products simultaneously, rather than focusing on a single product within a multi-manager structure. Salary is up to 120k CAD plus up to year end 10% bonus. They are looking for someone who can guide cross-functional teams in the creation of products that improve customer experience and grow market share. Drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams. Drive key stages of the product lifecycle, including market research, competitive analysis, roadmap planning, and product launch execution. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from strategy and planning to execution, launch, and continuous improvement. Act as the voice of the customer and advocate for user needs throughout the product development process. Partner with leadership to align product direction with company objectives and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders. Mentor and support junior product managers, helping to elevate team performance and build product management best practices. 6+ years of experience in a dynamic product management role ~ Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle. ~ High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams. ~ Exceptional writing and editing skills. Bachelor’s degree Previous experience in software and web development Travel Up to 10% travel, including international (Mostly US). Customer Focus : This is a visible position with a critical impact on the companies productivity and other software teams. Internal and external contacts include all levels of employees within the company, vendors, division management, consultants, and other professional business contacts within the industry.
