En tant que Responsable de Produit, votre responsabilité principale sera de soutenir la vision et la stratégie du produit pour notre équipe de développement pluridisciplinaire. Vous utiliserez vos compétences en réflexion stratégique et en analyse de marché pour identifier des fonctionnalités précieuses et aider à la livraison réussie de produits numériques. En collaborant étroitement avec les équipes Scrum, les responsables de produits et d'autres départements, vous contribuerez à la création de personae, développerez les exigences du produit et veillerez à la livraison ponctuelle et de haute qualité de produits répondant aux besoins des clients. Votre compréhension de l'industrie des technologies éducatives et des besoins des salles de classe sera importante pour façonner l'avenir de notre expérience de classe numérique.

Ce que vous ferez :

  • Soutenir la mise en œuvre de la stratégie et de la vision du produit pour s'aligner avec les initiatives globales du programme et livrer des produits de haute qualité qui répondent aux besoins des clients dans les délais.
  • Articuler la vision du produit, la feuille de route et les opportunités de croissance.
  • Coordonner avec les équipes Scrum en tant que responsable de produit.
  • Fournir des orientations aux équipes de développement agile et aux parties prenantes tout au long des projets.
  • Créer des épopées (Epics) et des récits (Stories) à partir de diverses sources d'information.
  • Prioriser le carnet de produits (Backlog) pour les équipes Scrum.
  • Participer à l'affinement et à l'estimation des récits ainsi qu'à l'acceptation des récits et des fonctionnalités.
  • Surveiller les dates importantes et les livraisons, en tenant compte des intérêts des parties prenantes.
  • Collaborer avec les parties prenantes internes et externes pour offrir transparence et clarté sur les exigences, la conception et les fonctionnalités du produit.
  • Rendre compte de l'état d'avancement du développement des produits, des problèmes, des modifications de l'étendue ou de la priorité des produits ou de tout ce qui peut avoir une incidence sur la livraison des produits, et faire remonter l'information le cas échéant.
  • Participer aux activités de recherche qui valident les efforts de développement du produit.
  • Pratiquer une gestion efficace des risques : établir des priorités et faire des compromis pour garantir la livraison du produit dans les délais et le budget prévus, tout en préservant l'intégrité pédagogique des produits.
  • Gérer efficacement le changement au sein de l'organisation en créant un consensus et une communication ouverte entre toutes les parties prenantes.
  • Maintenir une cohérence entre les produits en collaborant avec d'autres responsables d'équipe.

Ce que vous apporterez :

  • Baccalauréat en éducation, en administration des affaires ou dans une discipline technique préféré.
  • 3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans la gestion de projets de développement de logiciels, de préférence dans l'industrie des technologies éducatives.
  • Compréhension solide et expérience préalable des méthodologies Agile et des outils de gestion de projet (par exemple, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Certification de Responsable de Produit Agile préférée.
  • Succès démontré dans le travail avec des équipes de projet technologique interfonctionnelles.
  • Connaissance des tendances technologiques actuelles dans le secteur de l'éducation (K-12), de l'expérience utilisateur (enseignants, étudiants et administrateurs) et des besoins spécifiques en salle de classe.

    Remote Work Option - Must be able to commute to the Montreal office as needed .

    As a Product Owner, your primary responsibility will be to support the product vision and strategy for our cross-functional development team. You will use your strategic thinking and market analysis skills to identify valuable features and assist in the successful delivery of digital products. Collaborating closely with scrum teams, product owners, and other departments, you will contribute to persona creation, develop product requirements, and ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of products that meet customer needs. Your understanding of the education technology industry and classroom needs will be important in shaping the future of our digital classroom experience.

    What you’ll do :

  • Support the implementation of product strategy and vision to align with overall program initiatives and deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs on schedule.
  • Articulate the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with scrum teams as the product owner.
  • Provide direction for the agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the projects.
  • Create epics and user stories from multiple sources of input.
  • Prioritize the backlog for scrum teams.
  • Participate in grooming and sizing of stories as well as acceptance of stories and features.
  • Monitor milestone and release dates, considering stakeholder interests.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide transparency and clarity on product requirements, design, and functionality.
  • Report status and escalate as appropriate on product development, issues, product scope or prioritization changes, or anything that impacts product delivery.
  • Participate in research activities that validate product development efforts.
  • Practice effective risk mitigation : Prioritize and make trade-offs to ensure delivery of product on time and within budget, while maintaining educational integrity of products.
  • Effectively lead and manage change within the organization by building consensus and open communication among all stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistency across products by collaborating with other team leaders.
  • What you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a technical discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years managing software development projects, preferably in the education technology industry.
  • Solid understanding of and prior experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Agile Product Owner Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional technology project teams.
  • Knowledge of education technology (K-12) industry technology trends, user experience (educators, students, and administrators), and classroom needs.
