The Opportunity :
LHH Knightsbridge has been retained to recruit a dynamic and accomplished executive to serve as President for New Pacific Metals (NPM), a rapidly growing mining company. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a visionary leader with strong operational expertise, a proven track record in field operations, and a deep commitment to integrity and excellence.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : The President plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future. This includes working closely with the CEO to craft and execute a clear strategic vision that ensures sustained growth and alignment across all functions.
- Operational Oversight : This role demands strong leadership in managing complex mining operations while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and community collaboration.
- Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in mining, with a focus on mine development and open pit operations.
- Proven ability to manage complex field operations and large, diverse teams.
- Expertise in navigating South American mining regulations and practices.
- Under-graduate or post-graduate degree in Mining, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree.
Qualifications and Experience :
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise and leadership experience in mining, particularly in challenging and diverse environments like Bolivia. This includes :
