You will lead a team of architects, developers, and platform engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Security, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

Lead the architectural vision and strategy evolution of the Salesforce platform :

  • Own and develop the architectural roadmap for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, custom apps).
  • Integrate AI technologies to optimize performance and automate processes.
  • Drive modernization, best practices, and platform scalability in a multi-cloud, multi-org environment.
  • Collaborate with the Director to align Salesforce strategy with business goals.
  • Improved fundraising efficiency through automation and data-driven insights.

Oversee daily operations, incident management, and platform reliability :

  • Manage incident response, performance tuning, environment management, and release operations.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for high availability.
  • Support development and maintenance of solutions for fundraising and volunteer management.
  • Ensuring uninterrupted donation processing and volunteer engagement.
  • Guide release management, DevOps practices and compliance :

  • Support CI / CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and automation tools.
  • Provide architectural guidance for compliant, high-quality releases.
  • Manage environment strategy (sandboxes, dev / test / prod orgs), data refresh cycles, and deployments.
  • Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams for continuous improvement.
  • Faster delivery of new fundraising features and secure data handling.
  • Others :

  • Foster a high-performance culture that leverages the unique talents and strengths of each member while encouraging their growth and development.
  • Champion CCS as a hero in the face of cancer.
  • Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • The role requires at least 5+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and operations, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • System / Application Experience  Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications). Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce tools and technologies (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL). Proven track record managing enterprise Salesforce environments with complex integrations and high transaction volumes. Experience with platform modernization, best practices, and multi-cloud / multi-org environments.
  • Leadership & People Management  At least 3+ years in a leadership role, managing and mentoring teams of architects, developers, and platform engineers. Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing technical teams. Experience cultivating a collaborative, innovative team culture. Ability to partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Security, Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience).
  • Data Analysis & Strategy  Experience integrating and leveraging AI technologies to optimize platform performance and automate processes. Ability to analyze platform data for performance tuning, incident management, and operational improvements. Strategic thinking to align Salesforce solutions with business goals and fundraising objectives.
  • DevOps & Release Management  Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and agile delivery models (tools like Copado, GitHub). Experience supporting release management, deployment strategies, and automation tools. Familiarity with environment management (sandboxes, dev / test / prod orgs) and data refresh cycles.
  • Governance, Security & Compliance  Experience defining and enforcing platform governance, security standards, access controls, and compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR). Collaboration with security, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data privacy and audit readiness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement  Ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on Salesforce initiatives. Experience engaging with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
  • Strategic Thinking & Vision : Ability to develop and communicate a clear architectural vision for the Salesforce platform, aligning technology strategy with organizational goals. This includes anticipating future needs, driving innovation (especially in AI), and ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Change Agility & Problem Solving : Adapts to evolving business and technology needs, drives platform modernization, and proactively resolves operational challenges. Demonstrates resilience and resourcefulness in a dynamic environment.
  • Integrity & Accountability : Upholds high standards for governance, security, and compliance. Takes ownership for platform reliability, data privacy, and cost-efficiency, ensuring decisions are transparent and responsible.
