Title : Plant Cleaner
Location : Ancaster,
Reports To : Production Supervisor
Pay : 21.30 per hour
Shift : 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday Sometimes!
PURPOSE AND SCOPE :
Keep the facility clean and stocked. Some maintenance duties
Keep snow removal, coolant recycling, vacuum, power washer, floor sweeper, fans and other cleaning and facility equipment operational by completing TPM requirements
Document actions by completing perimeter level checks and reporting issues to supervisors
Maintain assigned equipment and cells through performance of scheduled TPM duties
Keep supplies stocked by keeping vigilant on inventory levels of parts and components, glove machine and paper towels
Maintain shop mop bucket system
Maintain sidewalk safety with snow removal and salt application as needed
Maintain continuity among shifts by communication actions, irregularities and continuing needs
Ensure aisle mirrors are regularly cleaned
Replace fan filters as necessary
Communicate supply needs to office ordering staff
Dispose of cardboard and plastic in bailer or compactor as needed
Clean machines during down time
Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Excellent attitude and willingness to learn
Good attendance and dedication
Ability to operate motorized equipment and perform repetitive tasks with concentration
Good mechanical aptitude
Good written and verbal communication skills
Willing to work overtime as required
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
