Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience. Preferably 1–2 years of experience as a Delivery Driver. Valid Quebec driver’s license. Clean driving record. Experience driving delivery vans or light trucks is an asset. Willingness to follow routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Experience delivering to clinics or pharmacies is a strong asset. Ability to drive for extended periods; willingness to travel within regions of Quebec city and / or Ottawa as needed. Bondable and insurable; willing to undergo criminal background check. Commitment to providing high-quality service to internal and external clients. Adaptable with a track record of success during growth and organizational change. Overview
Pharmacie Raji Al-Kurdi Inc affiliated with Sentrex is a Canadian pharmacy committed to providing access to medications and patient support. This role is responsible for the reliable, safe, and punctual transport of medications and medical supplies from the pharmacy to clinics and clients across Quebec. The Delivery Driver will follow weekly delivery routes, pick up and drop off items at scheduled times, and deliver excellent customer service to clinic staff and clients. Occasional urgent or rush deliveries may be required. The driver will work as part of the pharmacy team to ensure orders are complete, properly packed, and delivered safely and on time. The driver may assist with pharmacy or warehouse duties as needed by management.
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver items to clients safely and on time.
- Pick up and deliver packages from the Saint-Laurent pharmacy and deliver to clients.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Assist with unpacking delivery boxes at client sites as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to client questions or requests.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
- Comply with all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Operate vehicles such as cars, trucks, and delivery vans.
- Assist with general housekeeping and other pharmacy / warehouse duties as assigned.
