Job descriptionPractice within federal / provincial, regulatory / legal requirements Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management Provide counselling on prescriptions and over-the-counter products Practice to full extent of expanded scope with Professional Services, within your capability Be clearly identifiable to the public Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed Communicate with other healthcare professionals within the circle of care to provide customer care Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy Workflow and Inventory Management : Review and maintain Workflow Queues daily Regularly review ‘will call’ bins per established SOPs Review stock to identify expired inventory Oversee current stock levels and medication orders from wholesaler Ensure compliance with documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, including reporting to Health Canada and regulatory bodies Operations : Participate in financial reporting as appropriate Read and act on store communications via the in-store web File incident reports for any medication or privacy incidents involving customers or staff Experience, Skills & Qualifications : Ability to plan, coordinate, delegate, and coach colleagues Proven ability to drive business growth and support enterprise programs Commitment to exceptional customer service Strong customer relations and professionalism Problem-solving skills with experience in action plan execution Strong computing skills and knowledge of Pharmacy systems is an asset Adherence to Health & Safety procedures Completion of mandatory training and continuing education as needed Seniority level : Mid-Senior level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Health Care Provider Industries : Retail
