Job description

Why this role is important?
SUMMARY :
To manage the operations of the Pharmacy while on duty, including providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, practicing to full scope in professional services, dispensing medication, and assisting in dispensary maintenance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Pharmacy and Customer Service : Acknowledge all customers, practice within legal requirements, ensure privacy and confidentiality, counsel on prescriptions and over-the-counter products, practice full scope of professional services, be identifiable to the public, ensure prescription accuracy, communicate with healthcare professionals, maintain required records.
Workflow and Inventory Management : Control access respecting confidentiality, review workflow queues daily, manage stock and expired inventory, oversee stock levels and orders, comply with legislation regarding controlled substances, report to authorities as required.
Operations : Maintain the pharmacy's image, participate in financial reporting, respond to store communications, file incident reports for medication or privacy issues.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications :
Independent decision-making, leadership, customer service excellence, professionalism, problem-solving, computer proficiency, safety compliance, ongoing education.
