Position Description :
Reporting to the Head Chef, this is a full-time, year-round position which offers a competitive compensation and benefit package. We are looking to fill this position with a detail orientated, self-motivator, who has at least 1-3 years of kitchen experience.
You will play a key role in the training & supervision of Staff alongside the Head Chef. Together, you will ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely and effectively, monitor performance, and provide feedback and support.
You will be responsible for ensuring that food quality standards are consistently met and maintained throughout all stages of food preparation, storage, and service. This includes monitoring food safety procedures, conducting regular quality inspections, and overseeing the proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in all areas of food preparation
- Familiarity with different cuisines
- Ability to supervise and command Staff in Chef's absence
- Effective communication skills which will provide a positive work environment for all company Staff
- Ability to work flexible hours (5 shifts per week), early and late (shifts may range between 7am - midnight), weekend & Holiday availability is required
Compensation : 50,000 annually
