The Intern, Relocation Coordination, as a part of the Workplace Solutions team, is responsible for supporting the planning and delivering of tenant improvements and / or facility moves, adds, or change (MAC) projects. You will work with internal BGIS staff, client, and external vendors as required, to ensure timely, successful implementation of requests. In this role, success is driven by your ability to be organized and customer focused.
Contract Date : May - August 2026
Location : Downtown Toronto
Work Arrangement : on-site
Work Hours : evenings and possibly weekends
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engages and communicates with clients with a focus on professionalism, urgency and transparency
- Prepares documentation and tracking of box retrievals, and working with Leads to update weekly reports
- Booking, meeting and greeting client staff to arrive and retrieve personal and department files and content
- Working with client staff and movers to find and move items in coordination with different team members
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients.
- Partner senior team members to assist with planning and completing basic move activities and inventories as required.
- Other duties as assigned
Who are you?
This is a full-time, contract position with a salary range of $19 - $23 per hour. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
