Forklift Operator
- It starts immediately.
- You must have a valid forklift certificate.
- You will be unloading product (tires for the most part) from sea cans and trailers.
- Occasionally, you will be required to re-stack tires that have fallen over. They can weigh from 50-70lbs so you need to be able to do this when required. If you have any physical limitations that would prevent you from doing this, you will not be successful.
- The shift is from 8 : 00 in the morning to 4 : 30 in the afternoon, Monday to Friday.
- You may be asked occasionally to work overtime.
- The business is located in Aldergrove so you must be able to get there, on time every day regardless of whether you drive or utilize another form of transportation.
- For the first 2-3 months, you will be on our payroll. During this time, your “fit” will be assessed and if you perform well during that time, they will likely hire you on to their payroll. No guarantees. It is up to you.
- The pay is $25.00-$27.00 / Hr. to start.
