Position Description
Title : Executive Assistant
Employment : Full-Time Contract (14-month Parental Leave Contract – with the possibility of an extension)
Note : Hours may vary based on the Secretary General's schedule.
Hours of Work : 1.0 FTE - 38 hours per week
Salary Range : $57,000-$75,000 per annum
Reports to : Secretary General
Location : Hybrid (Remote and In-Office location)

International Federation on Ageing (IFA)
The International Federation on Ageing (IFA) is an international non-governmental organization with a membership base of NGOs, the corporate sector, academia, government, and individuals spanning 76 countries. The IFA has formal relations with the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
The IFAs vision is ‘a world of healthy older people whose rights are both protected and respected.’ This is inspired through the goal of being the global point of connection of experts and expertise that help to shape and influence policy at all levels of government.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Assistant to provide administrative, operational and strategic support to the Secretary General. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, strong organizational skills, HR experience, and the ability to manage complex international schedules and navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Secretary General to facilitate the smooth operation of the Secretariat, coordinate international initiatives, and act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including government officials, NGOs, The United Nations, the World Health Organization, and other international organizations. This role requires a strong ability to manage complex tasks, maintain confidentiality, tactful communication, and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar high-level administrative role, with a focus on government, civil society, industry, international agencies, academia and thought leaders. Experience working with senior leadership and handling complex communications is essential.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in international relations, public administration, political science, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in office management, project management, or HR will be highly regarded.
