We are looking for an experienced Collections Supervisor to join our team in Markham, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee credit and collections operations, ensuring efficient processes and maintaining strong customer relationships. Your expertise will drive the success of our financial services and B2B collections activities.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and guide the credit and collections team to achieve performance targets.
- Oversee B2C collections processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Maintain and update customer accounts using CRM systems to track collections effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding balances.
- Handle escalated customer accounts, resolving disputes and maintaining positive relationships.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payment processing and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all credit and collections activities.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Prepare detailed reports on collections performance and present findings to management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections, with a focus on B2B operations.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of collection processes and best practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve escalated account issues.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
