ob Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Customs Broker to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Prepare and submit customs documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
2. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, laws, and procedures.
3. Classify goods according to Harmonized System (HS) codes.
4. Determine duties, taxes, and fees associated with imports and exports.
5. Communicate with customs officials, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and answer questions.
6. Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics providers to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
7. Maintain accurate records and reports, including customs entries, invoices, and payment receipts.
8. Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations, laws, and procedures.
9. Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
10. Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience as a customs broker or in a related field.
3. Knowledge of customs regulations, laws, and procedures in Saudi Arabia.
4. Familiarity with Harmonized System (HS) codes and classification procedures.
5. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customs clearance software.
