About the role

We’re looking for an Office Administrator to join our team , and play a key role in ensuring client visits run smoothly, assisting with facilities management and company events planning.

Activate Group is a growing UK business with nearly 1,000 team members nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that values its people and offers genuine development and progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome all visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring any client visits are planned and resourced correctly.
  • Deal with inbound calls to the reception phone and triage or transfer as necessary.
  • Manage the administration of staff fob keys, post duties and deliveries.
  • Assist with facilities management : overseeing the replenishment of stock; manager requests; external contractor requirements for the Group.
  • Health & Safety weekly audit of the site.
  • Administration duties including supporting the Operations team on a daily basis, working across all areas of the business.
  • Work with the People Team on projects and tasks related to employee benefits, engagement activities and company events.
  • Adhoc administration duties upon request.
  • Maintaining high office standards. Ensuring all communal areas and meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy.
  • Assisting with facilities needs across our AAR bodyshops.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and evidence of self-motivation.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with customers and employees at all levels.
  • Customer focused attitude and experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
