In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Eligibility for practice as an Occupational Therapist with the provincial registering / licensing body in the province of practice.
Note : Eligibility for the above must be met upon appointment but not at point of application. Applicants should be in their final year of study or have completed the required education.)
EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing occupational therapy services through workplace and / or practicum placements.
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
EXPERIENCE
Experience working in a correctional environment.
Experience providing Occupational Therapy services to clients with psychiatric / mental health disorders.
Experience providing Occupational Therapy services to clients with physical, medical and / or cognitive conditions & deficits. These may include but are not limited to geriatric clients, brain injuries, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and behaviourally challenged clients.
