GENERAL DESCRIPTION

As the Network and Security Analyst, the successful candidate will be a key member of Elexicon Energy’s IT team, reporting to the Manager, Technology and Security Operations. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless systems, VPNs, and voice technologies. The Analyst will play a vital role in ensuring a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment, while also actively monitoring vulnerabilities and responding to cyber security threats and remediation activities. As part of the incident response team, the Analyst will support both proactive defense measures and reactive investigations. This is an exciting time to join this growing team as we develop the strategies and plans to support a new brand and vision for customer centricity and operational excellence!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain the enterprise network infrastructure including but not limited to switches, firewalls, wireless access points, UPS equipment, and VPN solutions.
• Support and configure critical telecommunications infrastructure such as Voice-over-IP (VoIP) systems.
• Manage and maintain equipment supporting IT / OT infrastructure including coordination of preventative maintenance service.
• Administration and maintenance of system monitoring tools and software.
• Participate in the design and implementation of network and security solutions aligned with business and operational needs.
• Research and conduct POC’s on new technologies.
