Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team. The Sales Support Specialist will play a crucial role in providing administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.

Hours : 8 : 30am to 5pm (Monday to Friday)

Location : Pointe-Claire

Responsibilities

Responsibility for the file preparation on the behalf of the BDO

Processing credit checks, schedules and documentation and forwarding the completed file to the Credit Manager

Communication and follow up with BDO for all required information

Management of all incoming information calls, emails and online inquiries and coordinating all new file preparation

Coordination of marketing letters and materials and distributing these materials to a variety of targeted prospective clients

Responsibility for all marketing information for trade shows utilizing a variety of avenues such as magazines, TV advertisements, truck stops, videos, social media

Booking of all trade shows on an annual basis

Coordinating all marketing giveaways for events

Providing viable leads to BDO based on the size of the client and location

Reception relief for vacations and lunches

Assist with other department needs as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in an office environment is an asset

Some marketing knowledge is an asset

Willingness to learn and grasp business knowledge

Ability to be flexible, work well with others

Great interpersonal skills

Ability to use social media to increase visibility for the organization

Computer literate
