Job Description
RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position summary
The laboratory of Dr. Lehmann at RI-MUHC invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position to conduct research on auditory cognition. The focus is on exploring neuro-behavioral paradigms and machine learning to enhance outcomes for the hearing impaired. Research areas include brain plasticity, hearing restoration, music perception and appreciation.
Fellows will have access to a vibrant research ecosystem involving the McGill University Health Center (MUHC), the International Laboratory for Brain, Music and Sound Research & Centre for Research on Brain, Language and Music (BRAMS-CRBLM), and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Music, Media & Technology (CIRMMT). These affiliations provide significant opportunities for career development, mentoring, networking, and exposure at international conferences and workshops.
