• What You'll Be Doing
• Perform field and lab testing, including sampling raw materials, compression testing of concrete, and conducting trial mixes for product development.
• Travel to various job sites, interact with site personnel and external labs, and transport materials back to the lab as needed.
• Ensure proper materials, components, and testing procedures are followed while maintaining and calibrating equipment.
• Troubleshoot concrete performance issues and provide timely, accurate reporting of all test results to management.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and customers to support quality and operational goals.## ##
• What We Are Looking For
• Background in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field, with knowledge of CSA standards and construction materials such as ready mix concrete.
• Ability to perform field and laboratory testing; ACI / CCIL Concrete Field Testing certification considered an asset.
• Strong technical skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency and the ability to use digital tools effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe, independent, and team‑oriented work, with flexibility to support varied shifts and overtime as needed.
• Physically capable of working indoors and outdoors year‑round, including lifting up to 50 lbs., navigating varied terrain, and performing tasks that require kneeling, climbing, and extended standing or sitting.## ##
