ABOUT WILLIAMS LAKE FIRST NATION (WLFN)
The Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) or the Texelcemc (people of WLFN) have belonged to the Secwepemc (or Shuswap) Nation for over 6500 years. Today the WLFN community includes a growing population of over 800 registered members who live on reserve in Sugar Cane in nearby Williams Lake BC and across the globe.

POSITION
Reporting to the Director of Education the Lead Teacher / Special Education teacher isexpectedto overseeinaccordancewiththeMinistryofEducationguidelinescurriculumforgrade K4 K512 3 and 4 classrooms monitorthe Secwepemc instruction andcurriculum and assist in itsdelivery and implement the Special Education Lead Teacher / Special Educationwill ensurethatthe Little Chiefs Primary School (LCPS) adapts and follows the School District #27 school calendar which outlines the number of instructional days for that calendar year. The candidate will d evelop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each LCPS staff directly report to the Lead Teacher / Special Education.

Education Required
- CurrentBCCollegeofTeachersFullPracticing Certificate.
- Bachelorof Education.
- Valid First Aid CPR
