Job Summary
Plan, organize and control marketing initiatives with a focus on Events and Merchandising that aligns with branding, customer market, financial and corporate objectives.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Participate in marketing strategy, research and development requirements, branding and coordination for existing and emerging marketing plans.
Plan, coordinate, execute and measure projects core Marketing priorities with a specialty in merchandising, events of all scales, branding initiatives and sales promotions.
Provide technical expertise, develop communications and/or training of marketing initiatives and monthly newsletters.
Conduct routine marketing analysis to develop standard operating procedures.
Develop and maintain merchandising, signage and fixture programs.
Plan, execute, participate and measure events for Customers, Associates and Suppliers on time and on budget.
Plan, execute, strategize and collaborate in new branch builds, relocations and/or renovations.
Manage vendors, marketing collateral, supplies and administrative tasks.
Nature and Scope
Solutions require analysis and investigation.
Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud with strengths in Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.
Vast knowledge of store fixtures and signage materials.
Excellent communication and customer content writing skills.
Experience in design proofing and working with graphic designers with knowledge of fundamental design concepts.
Event & Tradeshow experience in planning and executing small to large scale events.
Strong project and budget management skills.
Experience in managing and developing talent of Marketing Associates.
