Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
Working as a member of the Health Records Team the incumbent is responsible but not limited to assembling inpatient discharges & daycares, assigning deficiencies, providing, maintaining and processing health records. Utilizes computer systems to obtain information necessary to retrieve / file reports and heath records.
Experience
- One (1) year experience in a hospital Health Records Department required within the last two years or;
- One (1) year medical office experience required within the last two years.
- Terminal Digit (TD) filing required.
- Experience working with both electronic and paper health records preferred.
