  • Collaborate with Commercial Account Associates and Marketing to negotiate favourable renewal terms for clients

  • Advocate on behalf of clients in the event of a claim and support them through to resolution

  • Manage accounts receivable for your assigned book, ensuring payment arrangements are confirmed within 45 days

Operations and Compliance

  • Maintain current knowledge of commercial insurance products, procedures, and market restrictions

  • Use CRM, BMS, and scorecards as required

  • Attend sales meetings and support the Chief Sales Officer and VP Sales in assessing and improving sales program effectiveness

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial insurance experience is preferred; candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong potential will be considered

  • University degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an asset

  • Strong working knowledge of commercial property, liability, and habitational insurance principles and practices

  • Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and business partners

  • Skilled at identifying client needs, developing proposals, and delivering solutions

  • Effective negotiator with strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Confident presenter with the ability to coordinate and deliver client-facing demonstrations

  • Proficient in MS Office and broker management software

  • Comfortable with travel and in-person client visits, with flexibility for after-hours availability when require

Why Join HUB?

  • An exceptional, welcoming, and inclusive company culture

  • Excellent compensation, benefits, RRSP match, referral incentives, and company perks
