Our client, specialized in heavy machinery transport and located in Beloeil, is expanding their team and is looking for an experienced dispatcher who will also support the logistics team.

Advantages
Location: Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil
Salary ranges between 60-70k depending on experience
Permanent full time, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact between drivers, clients, and internal teams, ensuring each transport request under their responsibility is carried out efficiently and in compliance with operational requirements and health and safety standards.
- Assign drivers and road escorts to projects and communicate necessary instructions to them;
- Gather all required transportation documents (e.g., transit permits, forms, etc.) and ensure they are complete, up-to-date, and transmitted to drivers before departure;
- Maintain communication with drivers and road escorts while they are on the road and support them as needed;
- Follow up with clients throughout the project to answer their questions and keep them informed of progress;
- Manage unforeseen issues and ensure prompt and effective resolution;


Qualifications
- 3 years' relevant experience in the field in logistics or dispatch;
- Experience working for a trucking company is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
