We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Millwright based in our Grand Forks location to join the Operational Maintenance team.

This position offers 12-hour day / night rotating shifts. This position works a rotating schedule of 3 days on and 3 days off. You must be able and willing to work both day and night shifts.

12-hour shifts - Days and Nights - 7 : 00 – 7 : 00

Pay Rate : $47.11 / hour

Your future team :

You will become part of the Operational Maintenance team reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

What you will be doing :

Provide essential mechanical and technical support to the production line, optimizing production efficiency and product quality.

Conduct repairs, replacements, preventive, and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Repair and replace components of machinery, ensuring smooth operations.

Utilize exceptional troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment, safety protocols, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Read, interpret, and adhere to drawings, blueprints, schematics, and safety considerations.

Work with various bearings and systems, performing troubleshooting and new installations.

What You will bring :

Hold a valid BC Drivers License.

Minimum of Grade 12 education.

Red Seal Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years heavy industrial experience.

Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings and safety protocols.

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, making informed decisions to ensure safe operations.

Willingness and availability for overtime work on short notice.

Collaborative team player, working closely with other trades and contractors when necessary.

Own a set of quality tools capable of performing routine tasks.
