Mechanics will be called upon to…

Repair and maintain school buses;

Perform road tests;

Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders;

Perform paint and finishing repairs;

Follow-up on the Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP);

Compile parts lists for repairs and keep inventory up to date;

Monitor warranties;

Issue parts release slips on work orders;

Organize workshop (equipment, store);

Research technical documentation;

Clean work and wash areas;

Install radio, camera and GPS equipment on a new vehicle;

Detect mechanical problems;

Any other related tasks.

Salary

Requirements

DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant experience;

Knowledge of diesel mechanics

Knowledge of Cummins, Allison, Wabco and Outlook software;

Knowledge of hydraulic brakes;

Knowledge of transmission and engine diagnostics (an asset);

Possession of PEP card;

Valid Canadian work permit;

Valid Class 5 license.

Qualifications :

Good attendance;

Good manual dexterity;

Good analytical skills;

Good spatial perception;

Initiative;

sense of responsibility and observation.
