Le Gestionnaire Principal, Communications d'affaires dirige le développement de stratégies et de campagnes de communication internes et externes efficaces et percutantes qui soutiennent les priorités stratégiques de McKesson Canada et de ses diverses unités commerciales.

Le Gestionnaire Principal et son équipe agissent en tant que partenaires commerciaux de confiance pour les dirigeants des unités commerciales, soutiennent à la fois leurs besoins en communication interne et externe et contribuent à la promotion des initiatives commerciales clés, des produits et des services auprès des publics internes et externes.

Le Gestionnaire Principal relève directement du Vice-président, Communications et est un membre clé de l'équipe de direction des communications.

Ce poste nécessite un bilan éprouvé de la capacité à établir des relations solides et à collaborer avec des collègues interfonctionnels. Réussir dans ce rôle nécessite également de solides compétences en leadership d'équipe, une réflexion stratégique, une mentalité proactive et une excellente capacité à gérer un volume élevé de dossiers sensibles au facteur temps tout en étant attentif aux détails.

Responsabilités Principales

Soutenir les principaux dirigeants de l'entreprise en ce qui concerne leurs besoins en communication et fournir des conseils en communication interne et externe.

Développer et exécuter un plan de communication intégré pour nos diverses unités commerciales qui soutient leurs priorités et objectifs stratégiques tout en travaillant à faire progresser la vision globale de l'entreprise.

Collaborer étroitement avec les partenaires commerciaux clés dans les domaines où la communication peut renforcer ce que nous livrons par rapport aux priorités commerciales clés.

Développer, faire évoluer et mettre en œuvre une nouvelle stratégie de canaux pour stimuler l'engagement des parties prenantes internes et externes clés.

Préparer le positionnement et les messages de leadership, y compris les mémos, présentations, points de discussion et discours, tant pour les audiences internes qu'externes.

Exploiter les canaux internes pour connecter stratégiquement chaque employé aux impératifs et objectifs de l'unité commerciale. Engager les employés à travers des communications claires et attentionnées des leaders.

En partenariat avec l'équipe marketing, amplifier nos succès commerciaux, nos capacités différenciantes et nos solutions auprès des audiences externes. Contribuer à positionner l'unité commerciale comme un partenaire de choix.

Collaborer avec l'équipe des relations publiques et des médias pour saisir les opportunités de leadership éclairé qui sont alignées avec les priorités stratégiques de l'unité commerciale.

Définir des indicateurs clés pour mesurer, surveiller et rendre compte des progrès par rapport à la stratégie et garantir une amélioration continue et une efficacité accrue de la stratégie de contenu.

Responsabilités Générales

Revoir et définir le mandat de l'équipe des Communications d'affaires et s'assurer que les projets sont gérés et livrés à temps.

Prioriser le travail et gérer les attentes des parties prenantes internes en conséquence.

Superviser trois individus, ainsi que des consultants externes, des fournisseurs et des ressources d'agences.

Planifier les objectifs de l'équipe et des membres individuels de l'équipe; évaluer les résultats et prendre les mesures appropriées pour maintenir et améliorer la performance.

Participer aux processus de gestion des talents de McKesson.

Déterminer les ressources humaines nécessaires pour réaliser le travail; coacher et former les employés; évaluer leur performance; les encourager et les aider dans leur développement et leur progression de carrière.

Favoriser de solides comportements de leadership et défendre nos valeurs I2CARE / ILEAD. Reconnaître et célébrer nos talents et nos succès commerciaux.

Fournir des contributions pour le budget du département et gérer le budget alloué. Approuver les réquisitions, les dépenses et autres transactions financières dans la limite de leur autorité.

Représenter l'équipe des Communications d'affaires dans diverses équipes interfonctionnelles selon les besoins.

Exigences du Poste / Qualifications

Leader orienté vers les résultats avec plus de 4 ans d'expérience dans des rôles à responsabilité croissante dans les communications d'entreprise et d'affaires.

Diplôme de baccalauréat en arts en communication et / ou relations publiques ou domaine d'étude connexe, ou expérience équivalente.

Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite en anglais. La maîtrise du français est un atout.

Capacité démontrée à illustrer une réflexion et une planification stratégiques de haut niveau avec d'excellentes compétences en gestion de projet et en exécution.

Capacité démontrée à créer des plans de communication holistiques qui englobent l'engagement des parties prenantes, la création de contenu, les plateformes sociales.

Expérience de travail avec des cadres supérieurs dans de grands environnements d'entreprise complexes.

Capacité à traduire les objectifs commerciaux en campagnes intégrées efficaces, tant externes qu'internes.

Autonome, capacité à prioriser, avec un souci du détail et de la précision.

Doit être capable de respecter des délais serrés et de réagir rapidement aux priorités changeantes.

Bon joueur d'équipe, capacité à travailler de manière interfonctionnelle et à diriger une équipe de manière collaborative.

Le.la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et / ou externes à l’extérieur du Québec et / ou aux États-Unis. Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral. Job Summary

The Sr Manager, Business Communications leads the development of effective and impactful external and internal communication strategies and campaigns that support McKesson Canada’s strategic priorities and that of its various business units.

The Sr Manager and their team act as trusted business partners to the business unit leaders, support both their internal and external communications needs and contribute to promoting key business initiatives, products and services to both internal and external audiences.

The Sr Manager reports directly to the Vice President, Communications and is key member of the Communications Leadership Team.

This position requires a proven track record of being able to build solid relationships and partner with cross-functional colleagues. Being successful in this role also requires strong team leadership skills, strategic thinking, proactive mindset, and an excellent ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive files while being detail oriented.

Principal Responsibilities

Support key business’ leaders with respect to their communications needs and provide internal and external communications counsel.

Develop and execute integrated communications plan for our various business units that support their strategic priorities and objectives while working to advance the broader enterprise vision.

Collaborate closely with key business partners in areas where communications can strengthen what we deliver against key business priorities.

Develop, evolve and implement new channels strategy to drive engagement of key internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare leadership positioning and messaging, including memos, presentations, talking points, speeches both for internal and external audiences.

Leverage internal channels to strategically connect each employee to the business unit imperatives and goals. Engage employees through clear and caring leader communications.

In partnership with the marketing team, amplify our business wins, differentiating capabilities, and solutions amongst external audiences. Contribute to positioning the business unit as a partner of choice.

Partner with the PR and Media team to seize thought leadership opportunities that are aligned with the business unit strategic priorities.

Define key metrics to measure, monitor and report progress against strategy and ensure continuous improvement and increased effectiveness of content strategy.

General Responsibilities

Review and define the Business Communications team’s mandate and ensure projects are managed and delivered on time.

Prioritize work and manage internal stakeholder expectations accordingly.

Supervise three individuals, as well as external consultants, vendors and agency resources.

Plan team and individual team member objectives; assess results and take appropriate measures to maintain and improve performance. Participate in McKesson talent management processes.

Determine human resources required to carry-out work; coach and train employees; evaluate their performance; encourage and assist them in their development and career growth.

Foster strong leadership behaviors and champion our I2CARE / ILEAD values. Recognize and celebrate our talent and business wins.

Provide input for departmental budgeting and manage allocated budget. Approve requisitions, expenses and other financial transactions within their authority.

Represent the Business Communications team on various cross-functional teams as required.

Interact with counterparts at McKesson Corporation on key initiatives.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

Results-oriented leader with 4+ years of experience in roles of progressively increased responsibility in corporate and business communications.

Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and / or public relations or related field of study, or equivalent experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Fluency in French is an asset.

Demonstrated ability to illustrate high level strategic thinking and planning with excellent project management and execution skills.

Demonstrated ability to create holistic communications plans that span stakeholders’ engagement, content creation, social platforms.

Experience working with senior level executives in large and complex corporate environments.

Ability to translate business goals into effective external and internal integrated campaigns.

Self-directed, ability to prioritize, and an eye for detail and accuracy.

Must be able to work to tight deadlines and react quickly to changing priorities.

A good team player, ability to work cross functionally, and lead a team collaboratively.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and / or external clients outside Quebec and / or in the United States. Therefore, he / she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
