  • Enjoy balance and flexible working. Be empowered to do your best work – whether it’s from home or in the office.
How you will create an impact:
  • Request for Proposals & Study Execution (60–70%) Partner with consultants to define research objectives, scope, and specifications for qualitative and quantitative studies (e.g., surveys, expert interviews). • Vendor Relationship Management (15–20%) Manage ongoing relationships with a subset of preferred market research vendors and expert networks. Support pricing negotiations in partnership with Market Research Managers. Proactively identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to meet evolving project needs. Troubleshoot fielding, recruitment, and quota issues, escalating complex challenges as needed. Maintain and enhance the vendor database and internal feedback mechanisms.
  • Quality, Compliance & Best Practices (10–15%) Ensure adherence to Simon-Kucher global data compliance policies and industry market research standards Apply and reinforce best practices in study setup, vendor management, and documentation. Review project materials (e.g., screeners, questionnaires, discussion guides) for clarity, bias minimization, and feasibility, in collaboration with Market Research Managers.
  • Training, Mentorship & Knowledge Building (5–10%) Contribute to internal training materials, templates, and best-practice documentation. Support onboarding and skill development of new team members. Participate in initiatives to mature and scale the Market Research Center of Excellence.
About You:
  • Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in market research, vendor management, or related roles. Hands-on experience supporting qualitative and quantitative market research projects. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously with increasing autonomy. Strong organizational, project coordination, and prioritization skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting with consultants and external vendors. High attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets and project tracking tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications Experience with scoping audiences for market research (sales or operations role) Familiarity with market research compliance guidelines and data privacy requirements. Experience mentoring or training junior team members. Exposure to survey platforms or research tools is a plus.
  • Key Attributes for Success Trusted Partner: Seen by consultants as a reliable, knowledgeable research partner who can make thoughtful recommendations. Increasing Ownership: Comfortable taking end-to-end responsibility for defined components of the research process. Problem Solver: Proactively identifies issues and proposes solutions rather than escalating immediately. Collaborative: Works effectively across levels, bridging junior coordinators and senior research managers. Growth-Oriented: Eager to deepen methodological expertise and progress toward a research manager role over time.

This role is ideal for someone who has mastered the fundamentals of market research coordination and is ready to step into a more senior, influential position while continuing to build toward research leadership.

The pay range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 CAD/year. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 13 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and RRSP to eligible employees.
