Join our team as a Unit Clerk!
Under the direction of the Director of Care, the Unit Clerk is responsible and accountable for a variety of clerical duties supporting care and services to promote the overall wellbeing of residents. The Unit Clerk updates and organizes information on the units, ensuring efficient information flow and availability. They also promote positive experiences with residents, families, and guests, organize work within the unit, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless resident care.
The following traits and qualifications are required :
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year related experience
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment preferred
- General knowledge of office practices, processes, and procedures
- Computer proficiency
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
