If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us keep our facilities in top-notch condition. This role is ideal for someone with some maintenance experience who is eager to learn on the job and grow with us.

How You Will Make an Impact

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include :

• Performing General Maintenance : Must have well rounded handyman skills. General skills required including :
• Plumbing repairs & installations
• Repair or install electrical switches and receptacles.
• Repair and finish drywall.
• Conducting Minor Repairs : Fix minor issues, ensuring all appliances and equipment are correctly installed and operational.
• Maintaining Safety Systems : Ensure the functionality of safety systems, such as fire alarms, by performing Monthly Fire Test Testing and have a good understanding of fire control systems.
• Changing Light Bulbs : Keep our spaces well-lit by replacing light bulbs and addressing any related electrical issues.
• Inspecting and Repairing Damages : Identify and repair any damages to building surfaces, maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of our facilities. Have experience with lock changes, dead bolts, handles of commercial systems.
• Participating in Renovations : Take part in different projects, including renovations, to improve our facilities.
• Reporting Issues : Proactively report any issues to the facilities or maintenance manager to ensure timely resolution.
• Adhering to Quality Standards : Follow quality standards and health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
• Snow Removal : Participate in Snow Removal with other maintenance workers as required.
• On Call Schedule : Participate in an on-call schedule on a regular basis - must be able to respond to emergency calls within a 30 - 40 min period at the location of the call
