Job Title : Maintenance Assistant (Contract Position)

Job Status : Full Time Hours (between 32-40 hours / week)

This is not a summer position, the position will continue into the fall

Shift : Varies, must be available Monday-Sunday 7a-6p

Must have a Vehicle and a Valid Drivers License as you will be required to travel between all Tim Hortons locations in Fredericton and Minto area. Additional compensation is provided for Mileage

Reports to :   Maintenance Manager / Head Office

Position Description

The Maintenance Department plays a key role in ensuring that our restaurants are in tip-top shape, and able to provide the ultimate Guest Experience.

This Department looks after the general upkeep of our building’s interior and exterior by conducting repairs and maintenance as needed.

You may also be responsible for ensuring that our restaurant equipment is in prime operational condition by regularly checking the and calibrating equipment, and performing maintenance on the equipment and buildings as needed.

Key Job Duties

• Respond to Demand and Preventative Maintenance Work Orders as assigned
• Sweeping
• Power washing
• Some carpentry work
• Perform minor repairs on equipment, the building, cabinets, etc.
• Painting as assigned
• Moving of Equipment
• Changing Water and Air Filters to the schedule
• Special Projects and tasks as assigned (odd jobs)
• Follows all Health & Safety and Food Safety protocols
• Calibrate and verify equipment
• Work with External Companies to get building or equipment repaired when needed
• Maintaining records of work in the Online Management System and Calibrations
• Keeping up to date on training and procedures
