  • Monitor the availability of mechanics, parts, and tools to ensure that repairs can be executed quickly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Equipment Manager to prioritize equipment repairs based on project urgency and equipment utilization needs.
  • Keep the Equipment Manager informed of all major equipment issues, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of equipment in the field, including maintenance schedules, completed repairs, and outstanding service needs.
  • Assist in preparing reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities for review by senior management.
  • Liaise with parts suppliers and service vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services required for repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms that align with the company’s operational and financial goals.
  • Ensure that all preventive maintenance and repair activities are conducted in accordance with safety standards and company protocols.
  • Stay up to date with local regulations and industry best practices to ensure all maintenance practices meet compliance requirements.
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment during and after repairs to ensure it is fully operational and safe for use in the field.
