Responsible to: Registered Nurse, Care Coordinator, or Director of Resident Care
Purpose: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents in accordance with the standards of practice established by the Nova Scotia College of Nursing and the policies and procedures of The Northside Community Guest Home. Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the interdisciplinary team, the LPN promotes safe, competent, ethical, and person-centred care. This is a casual position that provides coverage for days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and other operational needs.
