We seek an experienced Chief Estimator to lead estimating operations within a business unit and supervise the estimating team in Ottawa. This role challenges industry standards and drives project success for a skilled professional.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all estimating operations within a business unit and supervising the estimating team. They will provide accurate and detailed estimates for projects while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
As a key member of our organization, the Chief Estimator will play a critical role in driving project success and challenging industry standards. They will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement estimating strategies that align with the company's overall goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, costs, and estimating techniques. They will possess excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role. The Chief Estimator will be responsible for communicating with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are accurate and completed on time.
They will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff members to improve their estimating skills and knowledge.
