The Role :

This role will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for reviewing and certifying ASME Sect. I, IV, VIII Div.1 and Div.2 design documents. Design detail engineering of mechanical equipment and packaged systems related to industrial heating and filtration equipment. Having process design experience and / or electrical and control system is an asset for this position.

Responsibilities :

• Acts as Certifying Engineer for ASME Sect. I, IV, VIII Div.1 and 2 design documents.
• Prepare and / or P.Eng. seal pressure vessel design reports and other required calculations.
• Prepare and review ASME code edition changes and identify changes required to Thermon quality program.
• Acts as Code compliance subject matter expert and provide guidance and direction to engineering and other discipline as required.
• Develop WPS and PQR per ASME Sect. IX.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide feedback between production and engineering for manufacturability of design.
• Work closely with production, welding, and quality assurance teams to ensure that designs are accurately implemented and meet quality and safety standards.
• Review and interpret project specifications, engineering codes, and standards to ensure compliance during all phases of the design and manufacturing process.
• Follow all Thermon's quality procedures.
• Liaise with Authorized Inspectors to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis and provide engineering support for troubleshooting and resolution of production problems.
