This is your chance to take on existing clients, develop new relationships, and deliver world-class, innovative solutions that support community building and sustainable growth.What You'll Be Doing : Operating as a Discipline Lead and senior technical leader overseeing technical personnel within the Mechanical Discipline on various projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, biogas systems, and solid digestion systems.Designing, coordinating, managing projects, and administering contracts during construction, from concept to completion.Providing mechanical expertise for engineering studies and condition assessments.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, architects, technologists, and specialist subconsultants across all our offices and within the industry.Liaising with clients to identify and respond to their needs.Engaging with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance is integrated into project designs.Leading or assisting in proposal preparation, including scope definition and effort estimation.Performing site visits during project phases, including job showings, concept and detailed design, and construction support.Applying engineering fundamentals, including software tool verification.Mentoring designers and junior engineers.What You'll Need to Be Successful : A minimum of five years of experience in the water and / or wastewater sector.Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee and manage technical personnel.Expertise in mechanical design and project management for infrastructure projects.A collaborative mindset with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.Excellent client management and communication skills.Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements within the industry.Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to mechanical design and analysis.Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
